Good weekend everyone. I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful summer weather. It was certainly a hot Saturday. The pool is open and almost ready to go. One more water sample. It was actually very clear when we took the cover off.
The kids worked so hard this week on the SAS testing. They did their best and I was very proud of them. They felt very good about their work. This week we will tackle the Aimsweb test. Math and reading. They have taken these twice already this year. In Wonders this week, we are on Unit 6 week 3. The genre is biography. In math, we will continue with measurement, cross multiplication and our facts. We have started our state unit. We have begun learning the capitals also. The presidents are almost finished and the kids have learned a lot! I can't believe that we only have about 17 days of school left. It just doesn't seem possible. What a challenging year for all of us. Mud's Munchkins pulled through with flying colors. Please don't forget to send in your library books if you have any hanging around. Thank you in advance. Have a great rest of the weekend and a good week ahead. Comments are closed.

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
