WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE
I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year ahead. We will learn so much and take on so many fun projects and adventures. Enjoy your summer reading and don't forget you can take reading counts tests at home. You can also start looking at your multiplication facts which will be a big part of third grade. Over the summer, please keep three things from vacation tucked safely away. They can be, movie tickets, a special beach rock, pictures, water park ticket, postcard or anything similar. Bring those with you on the first day of school and we will share summer adventures. I will probably have all the supplies you will need to start off the year. If you would like to get a nice durable folder to carry homework back and forth in, that would be good. Also a pencil box would be good and any other supplies you might want. Clorox wipes and soft tissues would also be a great help. Enjoy the summer. I can't wait to get to know you better in September. Happy last day of school. We made it!!! I am so very proud of all of you. I am the luckiest teacher in the world!

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
