At the end of the unit as a culmination, the kids will dress up as their president and make a speech to parents, grandparents, family and friends. When it close to the end of the unit, I will pick a date for the Presidential Reception. In math, we will continue with fractions and we will keep practicing our facts for fast math. We will be working on our second writing piece. it will be an "opinion" piece. I will do lots of modeling and we will have mini lessons to get us through. March is a very busy month. Please keep in touch for updates and upcoming events. Have a great week everyone. |
I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
