Happy Sunday everyone. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. We still have snow up here on the Mud Hill. I'm guessing in the next couple of days it should be gone.
We had a great week in school. We got so much accomplished. We did some fun activities for St. Patrick's Day. We were a sea of green. This week for Wonders Reading, we will be in unit 5 week 2. The spelling words are posted on the spelling page of this site. In math, we continue to work on fractions and multiplication. We will be preparing for our unit assessment which will take place next week. In social studies, we are plugging along with the presidents. The kids are really into this unit. In science, we will be starting our animal unit. Please keep the kids reading at home so they can keep track of their chapters read. We need our dog to pull up a bit in the Iditaread. Also, don't forget that the kids can go on to Learning. com and do typing and keyboarding lessons at home. The kids that have gone on were very excited about it. Remember reading counts and ixl are also available at home. This weeks special days are appreciating poetry on Monday and wear your favorite color on Thursday. Report cards will be coming home on Monday and Tuesday of next week. The kids have done an awesome job. Get out there and enjoy the weather. Have a great week everyone. Comments are closed.

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
