Hopefully we can have a full week of school this week! Spring is on Tuesday and it certainly doesn't look like spring.
PI(pie) Day was a huge success. The kids really enjoyed the pies and we also had fun doing the experiments that prove the theory. Ask the kids to sing you the PI song. We also had a visit from Louie the Leprechaun and had some delicious snacks to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We had some good news from the PTA this week. Our class took first in the Read-A-Thon. We will receive 100.00 dollars to spend on classroom books and we will also have an ice cream party. The Radsox are very excited. We have so much school spirit. This week we will be doing Wonders 4-4. The spelling words can be found on the spelling page. We are finishing up chapter 5 in our math book and we will have our assessment one day this week. The unit 6 newsletter has been sent home. We continue to practice our multiplication facts. In science, we have started a new unit on weather. On Friday we went outside and drew pictures of the sky and the weather at that moment. On the bulletin board in the hallway, the kids have created their favorite book covers and told why they liked that particular book. Comments are closed.

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
