Happy weekend everyone. I am writing to you a little earlier than usual because I will be away for the weekend. We are going to New York City for the weekend to get into the Christmas spirit. Driving to Springfield and then taking the train in.
This week we are not going to be doing Wonders. We will do other things for reading and finish up on our science unit. We do have spelling words to work with this week, but we will not have a spelling test. Don't forget that we have a half day on Thursday. We will have our party that day. We are going to watch "The Muppet's Christmas". We will do our gift exchange and Mr. Mud is providing pizza and drinks. If anyone would like to send in a snack please feel free. I know we have some cookies coming in and also brownies. If the kids would like to give little trinkets and notes to their Secret Santa they may do that. We are having a lot of fun with this. Teddy is also keeping us entertained. Our room is all decked out from our beautiful trees on the ceiling to all the other decorations and lights around the room. I hope you all have a great weekend. Enjoy the game on Saturday night. I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and the best of a Happy New Year. Please stay safe and healthy. The Dunking Doughnuts have been doing such a good job. Enjoy the first snow. Comments are closed.

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
