Welcome to day 3 of distant learning. I loved reading your vocabulary sentences yesterday. I got to see some of your leprechaun pictures too.
Today we are doing our first story. You can either read the story by yourself or listen or listen to the narrator just like in class. Don't forget to type your answers in the "Note To Teacher" box below. We are doing our first try at practicing math problems. You do not have to print these. Just find a piece of scrap paper and solve the problems. We will work on different skills each day. The integrated arts team has posted daily activities for the kids on their web-sites. This includes art, physical education, and music. Daily assignments: ELA Click on the story "Firsts in Flight". If you click the speaker icon the story will be read aloud to you just like in class. Listen carefully. When you are finished, please answer the questions below in the "Note To Teacher" box. Respond to these questions: 1. How did the Wright brothers help people fly? 2. Tell what you know about airplanes. Discuss other ways to fly. Remember to use complete sentences. Math Please complete the attached problems. Show your work and explain your thinking to someone at home. You can do your work on paper. In the "Note To Teacher" box, please tell me how you did. You don't have to save you answers, only if you want to. Just let me know if it was okay to handle independently. Good luck Mud's Munchkins. Just not the same without all of you! Comments are closed.

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
