Good morning! "Rabbit, rabbit"! Happy first day of June. I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was filled with bike riding and more bike riding. 82 miles round trip yesterday. Plants are starting to sprout in the vegetable garden and pollen is everywhere. Did you all get a chance to see the liftoff at Kennedy Space Center? It was amazing. This may be the start of citizens like us being able to travel in space.
Mrs. Winchell asked for this video to be posted. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/IAe82cad0SQ Here is your agenda for today. Journals-Mr. Mud is reading. Math-please do the multiplication review sheet in google math class and return. GROW-begins the week of review and games. Science-Think about a whale you would like to study. You have all week to complete your mini project. I have set up the report doc in Whale google classroom. You can research and find a whale that you like. On our whale watch we could possibly see.....a humpback, minke, fin, dolphin, pilot and yes they even spotted a blue whale years ago. You can also do the orca,(killer whale) beluga, gray, right whale, or bow head. Just google your whale and there are so many videos to choose from. PebbleGo will be an excellent resource. Factcite also. Just have fun with it! Social Studies-please finish up your state projects if you are still working. If you need an extra day or two that is fine. Have a wonderful day everyone. Only 8 and a half days remain! I am so proud of you guys. I have received numerous comments about the hard work that you continue to hand in. Mr. Mud's Munchkins are "Rocking It"! I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
