Dear New Third Graders,
Welcome to Mr. Mudrick’s third grade family. I am Mr. Mud and I can’t wait to see you. In September, you will begin an exciting adventure leading to a fun packed year full of learning and growing. School will look a little bit different for us when we begin in September. First of all the rooms will look very different. New windows were put in and a new air and heating unit has been placed in the ceiling. The room will have a lot less furniture in it. There will be new rules to learn, for in and out of the school building and it will be very important to follow the rules so we can all stay safe and healthy. I will explain all of this to you when I see you on the 9th of September. We got this! This year, we will learn the multiplication facts. We will do an Indian unit, learn about the Presidents, travel through all the States, and learn all of the capitals and go on an exciting Whale Watch. I will have all of the supplies that you are going to need. You may want to buy a durable homework folder to bring back and forth from home to school. You may bring your own supplies if you would like. Ruler, crayons, pencils, red pen or anything that. Please remember to save 2 or 3 items from summer vacation. On the first day of school, bring in your items and we will share our activities and adventures. That way we can learn all about each other. I can’t wait to find out all about you. If you and your parents would like to bring in something for the class…. soft tissues, Lysol wipes, baggies, hand sanitizer and paper towels would be greatly appreciated. If you want to prepare for third grade in the next few weeks, read, read, read. Also, you can brush up on your addition and subtraction. Enjoy the rest of your summer vacation. Bring a positive attitude and a huge smile when you come back to school. Get ready for an exciting year in third grade. Your New Teacher, Mr. Mudrick The Tall Guy Comments are closed.

I Believe...Let the kids be kids. Every child has a strength. It is up to the teacher to find it or tap it so they can work to their highest potential. I tend to set the bar very high. Lifetime memories should be made in the classroom and at school. NBCS should be a place where kids enter happy and go home with a smile on their face. I want my kids getting up in the morning begging to go to school! Archives
